How we score agent identity platforms
Read the agent-only scoring rubric, criterion weights, evidence limits, score bands and tie rules used to compare documented identity and governance controls.
Agent-only scope
The ranking covers agent ownership, discovery, credentials, delegated access, runtime policy, human approval, MCP controls and audit. Workforce SSO, IGA and PAM breadth do not earn points. Identity providers are described separately.
Rubric and evidence
Criterion scores use half-point steps from 0 to 10. Zero means no supporting detail was verified in the cited source. It does not prove that the feature does not exist. Scores of 1 to 5 describe narrow or indirect coverage. Scores of 6 to 7.5 describe explicit but limited controls. Scores of 8 to 8.5 describe direct coverage with remaining implementation or availability gaps. Scores of 9 to 10 require a clear, direct description of the target control. No product earns 10 in this edition.
Every criterion records a reason, an official source and its verification date. Verification confirms what the page says. No benchmark, customer claim or security certification is inferred from it.

Score bands
9 to 10
Direct, explicit coverage of the control. Public detail supports the intended workflow; a trial is still required.
8 to 8.9
Strong direct coverage. Integration, entitlement or operating limits remain to be confirmed.
7 to 7.9
Useful documented coverage with a narrower scope or incomplete implementation detail.
6 to 6.9
Partial coverage. The product addresses part of the workflow but leaves a material gap.
Below 6
Limited, indirect or unverified coverage for this criterion. Zero records no verified supporting detail.
Ties and reader weights
Totals less than 0.10 apart are joint. Alphabetical display order is not a substantive win. Reader weights must total 100 and are labelled separately from the published vectors.
Verification dates
The site date is the oldest capture date held by the scored records. It is not the build date or a first-publication date. Last verified 4 November 2026.
